Overview
Project Description
The research titled “Identifying the Root Causes of the Intersectional Vulnerabilities of Gender, Climate Vulnerability, and Ethnicity-Based Discrimination in Bangladesh” was commissioned by Christian Aid to generate evidence and policy insights on how gender inequality, climate- induced risks, and ethnic discrimination interact to shape exclusion and vulnerability among marginalized communities. The study aimed to identify the structural and systemic barriers that intensify intersectional vulnerabilities — particularly for women, ethnic minorities, and climate-vulnerable populations — and provide actionable recommendations to inform inclusive development policies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Purpose
